Welcome to Loy Clean Services. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website at loycleanservices.com and our cleaning services (collectively, the "Services").

By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

2. Eligibility

To use our Services, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract
  • Provide accurate and complete information when booking services
  • Comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws
  • Not be prohibited from using our Services under Connecticut or US law

3. Services Description

Loy Clean Services provides professional residential and commercial cleaning services throughout Connecticut, including but not limited to:

  • Regular housekeeping and maintenance cleaning
  • Recurring cleaning services (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly)
  • One-time deep cleaning services
  • Move-in and move-out cleaning
  • Special event cleaning
  • Custom cleaning packages

Service availability, pricing, and specific offerings may vary by location and are subject to change without prior notice.

4. Booking and Scheduling

4.1 Estimates

Free estimates are provided based on the information you provide. Final pricing may vary based on actual property conditions, size, and cleaning requirements. We reserve the right to adjust pricing if the actual service differs significantly from the estimate.

4.2 Booking Confirmation

A booking is confirmed only when you receive a confirmation email from us. We reserve the right to refuse service for any reason, including but not limited to scheduling conflicts, safety concerns, or property accessibility issues.

4.3 Schedule Changes

We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your preferred schedule. However, we may need to reschedule due to weather, emergencies, or unforeseen circumstances. We will provide as much notice as possible for any schedule changes.

4.4 Access Requirements

You must provide safe and legal access to your property for our team. This includes:

  • Unlocked doors or key access
  • Clear pathways to all areas to be cleaned
  • Working utilities (water, electricity)
  • Safe working conditions free from hazards
  • Secured pets or notification of pet presence

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

5.1 Customer Cancellations

  • More than 48 hours before service: Full refund, no cancellation fee
  • 24-48 hours before service: 50% cancellation fee
  • Less than 24 hours before service: 100% cancellation fee (no refund)
  • No-show: Full payment due, no refund

5.2 Company Cancellations

If we need to cancel your service, you will receive:

  • Full refund of any payments made
  • Priority rescheduling at your convenience
  • Discount on rescheduled service (if applicable)

5.3 Satisfaction Guarantee

If you are not satisfied with our cleaning service, please contact us within 24 hours of service completion. We will:

  • Return to re-clean any areas of concern at no additional charge
  • Provide a partial or full refund for documented service failures
  • Work with you to resolve the issue to your satisfaction

This guarantee does not apply to issues reported more than 24 hours after service or pre-existing conditions not disclosed before service.

6. Payment Terms

6.1 Pricing

All prices are in USD and include applicable Connecticut sales tax (6.35%). Prices are subject to change without notice.

6.2 Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods:

  • Credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover)
  • Debit cards
  • ACH bank transfers
  • Check (for commercial accounts only)

6.3 Payment Schedule

  • One-time services: Payment due before or upon service completion
  • Recurring services: Automatic billing on the day of service
  • Commercial contracts: Net 30 payment terms available

6.4 Late Payments

Late payments may result in:

  • Service suspension until payment is received
  • Late fees of 1.5% per month on overdue balances
  • Collection actions for accounts more than 60 days overdue

7. Client Responsibilities

As a client, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate property information and access instructions
  • Secure or remove valuable, fragile, or sentimental items
  • Disclose any hazardous materials or conditions
  • Inform us of pets, security systems, or special requirements
  • Maintain safe working conditions for our staff
  • Respect our team members and treat them professionally
  • Provide timely feedback about service quality
  • Pay for services as agreed

8. Liability and Insurance

8.1 Our Insurance

Loy Clean Services is fully licensed, bonded, and insured in Connecticut. We carry:

  • General liability insurance ($2,000,000 coverage)
  • Workers' compensation insurance
  • Bonding for employee theft protection

8.2 Damage Claims

If our team causes damage to your property:

  • Report damage within 24 hours of service
  • Provide photographic evidence and description
  • We will investigate and respond within 5 business days
  • Valid claims will be repaired or compensated up to policy limits

8.3 Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to:

  • Direct damages caused by our negligence
  • Lesser of repair/replacement cost or $5,000 per incident
  • No liability for pre-existing damage or wear and tear
  • No liability for undisclosed hazards or conditions
  • No liability for items not properly secured

WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR: Indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages; loss of profits or business interruption; or damages exceeding the amount paid for the specific service in question.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Loy Clean Services and protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not:

  • Copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without permission
  • Use our trademarks or branding without written authorization
  • Create derivative works from our website content
  • Use automated systems to access our website (scraping, bots)

10. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

By using our Services, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Dispute Resolution

11.1 Informal Resolution

If you have a dispute with us, please first contact our customer service team at support@loycleanservices.com or (203) 555-0123. We will work in good faith to resolve the issue.

11.2 Binding Arbitration

If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, you agree that any claims will be resolved through binding arbitration in Hartford County, Connecticut, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You waive the right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

11.3 Exceptions

Either party may seek injunctive relief in court for intellectual property violations or confidentiality breaches.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Hartford County, Connecticut.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to our Services immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including but not limited to:

  • Violation of these Terms
  • Fraudulent or illegal activity
  • Abusive behavior toward our staff
  • Non-payment of services
  • Providing false or misleading information

You may cancel your recurring services at any time with proper notice according to our cancellation policy.

14. Warranties and Disclaimers

OUR SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

While we strive for excellence, we do not guarantee that our services will meet all your expectations or be error-free, uninterrupted, or completely free from damage.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any service-specific agreements, constitute the entire agreement between you and Loy Clean Services regarding the use of our Services and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
